Air Hong Kong shifts to all-A330 freighter fleet
The airline now operates an all-A330F fleet comprising 14 aircraft in total.
Air Hong Kong has finished a seven-year overhaul of its fleet, replacing its last A300-600F and completing the shift to an all-Airbus A330F fleet.
With the completion of the re-fleeting programme, Air Hong Kong now operates an all-A330F fleet comprising 14 aircraft in total.
This includes 10 A330-300P2F (passenger-to-freighter converted aircraft) and four A330-200F freighters.
The newer A330F aircraft are more fuel-efficient, have a longer range of 7,400 kilometres, and have 25% more payload capacity.
They also offer more flexibility for handling different cargo types, helping meet a broader range of shipping needs for DHL’s network.
Air Hong Kong is a cargo freighter airline under the Cathay Group and a key partner of DHL Express.
