HK Immigration adjusts requirements for entry application
Anyone is required to declare if they have any criminal convictions during application.
The Hong Kong Government’s Immigration Department announced that they adjusted the schemes of their talent admission within the city.
The adjustment will require anyone who enters Hong Kong to declare whether they have any criminal convictions during the application process.
Hong Kong’s entry schemes, such as the General Employment Policy, the Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents & Professionals, the Technology Talent Admission Scheme, the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates, and the Admission Scheme for the Second Generation of Chinese Hong Kong Permanent Residents, will implement the adjustment.
However, the application procedure for entering foreign domestic helpers will not be changed.
