HKEX rolls out new investor relations portal

This will allow listed issuers to connect with their stakeholders.

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) launched a new digital investor relations platform, IR Connect, that would aid Hong Kong-listed issuers to build connections and hold regular dialogues with their stakeholders.

In a statement, HKEX said the new one-stop portal enables issuers to develop and manage their investor relations activities, which will improve their outreach and visibility within the investment community.

“The launch of IR Connect will help enhance our service offering to drive greater connectivity, accessibility and transparency across our markets,” said HKEX Chief Executive Officer Nicolas Aguzin.

The stock exchange also said that users can have free access to listed companies’ corporate profiles and key market data in the first phase of IR Connect, whilst listed companies will have free access to shareholder analysis and market data, key stock statistics, research ratings, and details of peer competitors and their shareholders.

It added that the new portal provides listed companies a “cost-effective way” to access data and information through subscriptions with leading data providers.

In the future, improvements to IR Connect will offer enhanced digital communication tools, and allow issuers to communicate directly with investors through the portal, HKEX said.
