New Frontier acquires Hong Kong Integrated Oncology Centre
HKIOC offers cancer treatment, TomoTherapy, and mammography services.
New Frontier has acquired the Hong Kong Integrated Oncology Centre (HKIOC).
Through this acquisition, New Frontier will own HKIOC's operations, including HKIOC Centre (Hong Kong Island), HKIOC Centre (Kowloon), and Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Oncology Center.
HKIOC provides a full range of cancer treatment services, including early diagnosis, radiotherapy, systemic treatments, mental health, and other rehabilitation support services.
HKIOC also offers a full suite of advanced imaging and radiotherapy equipment, PET-CT, CT, MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound, linear accelerator (Linac), and TomoTherapy.
HKIOC will become part of New Frontier’s portfolio of medical institutions, alongside HEAL Medical Group, New Frontier Shenzhen United Family Hospital (SZU), and Guangzhou United Family Hospital (GZU).
These medical institutions offer a diverse range of medical services, such as internal medicine, TCM, fertility preservation, general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, general practice, dermatology, and dentistry.
HKIOC will partner with the New Frontier unit, HEAL Oncology, to become one of Hong Kong's leading private comprehensive oncology entities.
The two parties and another New Frontier unit, United Family Healthcare, will work to promote cross-border cancer care and create a nationwide multidisciplinary cancer network.
In addition, New Frontier will foster collaborations with local and international academic and research institutions to further medical education and research.
