
Hong Kong 2010 exports up 18%
The prices of total goods exports rose 4.7% while the prices of goods imports went up 6.4%.
The volume of Hong Kong's total goods exports last year increased 18.1% over the previous year, while the volume of goods imports rose 18.6%.
According to Census & Statistics Department figures released on Tuesday, the volume of goods re-exports went up 18.1% while that of domestic exports grew 15.5%.
The prices of goods re-exports increased 4.6%, while those of domestic exports grew 5.5%. The prices of total goods exports rose 4.7% while the prices of goods imports went up 6.4%.
In December the volume of total goods exports rose 4.9% over the same month in 2009, while the volume of imports of goods increased 6.3%. The volume of goods re-exports went up 4.6% while domestic exports rose 16%.
The prices of re-exports of goods grew 7.4%, while those of domestic exports rose 7.1%. The prices of total goods exports increased 7.4% while the prices of goods imports rose 8%.
