Transaction volumes in industrial sector to finally resurrect in 2H14

Thanks to en-bloc deals.

Based on current trends, looking ahead, reviving en-bloc deals in the industrial market may induce further interest from both end users and investors.

According to a research report from Savills, meanwhile, with interest rates likely to remain low and the impact of the DSD diminishing, it is expected that transaction volumes in the industrial sector to gradually revive in the second half of 2014.

Industrial rental movements over the next six months will very much depend on stock availability, as strong logistics demand provides firm support to rental levels.

Further, with supply likely to remain tight in the short term, rents may have further room to grow over the remainder of the year.
