Health Secretary Lo Chung-mau and Education Secretary Choi Yuk-lin co-chaired the first meeting of the Task Group on New Medical School to discuss the establishment of a third medical school.
It recommended that the curriculum design of the new medical school should be accorded top priority and complement the two existing medical schools’ development.
Yuk-lin said the scope of local medical teaching will be expanded through an innovative curriculum design and diversified student recruitment arrangements to reflect the ‘Study in Hong Kong’ brand.
