Wong’s promotion of the commission's good corporate governance prompted SFC to reinstate him in his post.
Wong Kai-man has been reappointed a non-executive director of the Securities & Futures Commission for two years from May 26, according to an SFC report.
The Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau on Monday said Mr Wong has made positive contributions in promoting the commission's good corporate governance.
Dr Eddy Fong chairs the commission. Other serving non-executive directors are Chan Kam-lam, Prof Leonard Cheng, Anderson Chow, Lawrence Lee, Angelina Lee and Carlson Tong.
