HKEx appoints Stephen Yiu as board member

Financial Secretary Paul Chan announced the appointment of Stephen Yiu, and the reappointment of Margaret Leung, Anita Fung and Rafael Gil-Tienda as Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing board members.

They will serve for two years from April 26. Chan said the appointees are experienced figures in the business community, adding they will work closely together to further develop Hong Kong as a capital raising and risk management platform.

He also thanked outgoing board member John Harrison for his dedicated service over the past six years.
