The ceremony held on Easter Sunday at the Kagoshima Airport was attended by Kagoshima Prefecture Governor Koichi Shiota, and Hong Kong Airlines Japan Branch General Manager Chen Yuan who welcomed passengers aboard the first flight.

“Hong Kong Airlines continues to expand its network, and the relaunch of the Kagoshima route further optimises its presence in Japan,” the airlines said, adding that it is also working on increasing the frequency of flights to and from this destination to facilitate travel planning for passengers.
