Hong Kong Airlines relaunches Kagoshima flights on Easter Sunday
The Kagoshima route is offered three times a week.
Hong Kong Airlines made its inaugural flight to Kagoshima, Japan on 31 March 2024 marking the resumption of the company's services to this destination.
The flights are offered three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the airlines said in a statement. This is an addition to the existing destinations Fukuoka and Kumamoto.

The ceremony held on Easter Sunday at the Kagoshima Airport was attended by Kagoshima Prefecture Governor Koichi Shiota, and Hong Kong Airlines Japan Branch General Manager Chen Yuan who welcomed passengers aboard the first flight.
“Hong Kong Airlines continues to expand its network, and the relaunch of the Kagoshima route further optimises its presence in Japan,” the airlines said, adding that it is also working on increasing the frequency of flights to and from this destination to facilitate travel planning for passengers.
