Hang Seng Bank appoints Andrew Fung Hau Chung as Executive Director

The terms of appointment of Mr Andrew Fung shall be for three years.

The Board of Directors of Hang Seng Bank Limited (the “Bank”) is pleased to announce that Mr FUNG Hau Chung, Andrew, currently, General Manager and Head of Treasury and Investment of the Bank, has been appointed an Executive Director of the Bank with effect from 10 October 2011.

According to the Articles of Association of the Bank, the Mr Fung’s appointment will cease after the conclusion of the Bank’s 2012 Annual General Meeting (“AGM”). Upon that time and subject to their election by the shareholders, the terms of appointment of Mr Andrew Fung shall then be for three years, which will expire at the conclusion of the Bank’s AGM in 2015, according to a Hang Seng Bank report.

The Directors of the Bank would like to welcome Mr Andrew Fung to the Board and look forward to working closely with them.
