Gov’t sets trial dates for three firms charged with conspiracy to defraud

The trial dates were fixed after all 19 defendants pleaded not guilty.

The District Court trial of three companies—Eggriculture Foods Limited, Fullwealth Construction Holdings Company Limited and KNT Holdings Limited—will begin on 13 July 2026, 30 November 2026 and 6 April 2027, respectively.

The trial dates were fixed after all 19 defendants pleaded not guilty to suspected securities-related fraud and money laundering charges.

The defendants were charged with conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to employ a scheme with intent to defraud or deceive in securities transactions under common law offences.

Bail was granted to each defendant, subject to these conditions: cash and sureties ranging from $50,000 to $1m, a travel ban from Hong Kong, surrender of travel documents, regular reporting to the police, and adherence to their reported residential address.
