BEA saves 553,000 hours in processing time with UiPath
The bank has 77 attended automations as of December 2024.
The Bank of East Asia (BEA) has partnered with UiPath, an automation and AI software company, to enhance the bank’s banking, wealth management, and investment services.
BEA has adopted UiPath’s enterprise automation solutions since 2018, and has saved over 553,000 hours in processing time, according to a press release in December 2024.
The bank has also used it to provide a tailored customer experience.
To date, the Hong Kong-based bank has 77 attended automations.
BEA leverages UiPath solutions in the User Acceptance Test (UAT) of the Corporate Digital Channel system to set up test data. With UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA), the team has developed its own robotic processes to automatically generate customer records for testing purposes, according to a press release.
