Hengan International Group Company Limited bags Team of the Year-Manufacturing at the Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Awards 2018

The company's thrust to engage investors have paid off.

The investor relations team of Hengan International Group Company Limited has one main goal: to deepen market knowledge about the company's "Amoeba Model." In order to achieve this, the team regularly meets with investors, which includes investor conferences hosted by various brokerage firms. In 2017, the investor relations team participated in over 200 sessions of results announcement meetings, investor conferences and investors meetings, either one-on-one or in group. In recognition of the outstanding efforts made by the team, Hengan clinched Team of the Year for Manufacturing Industry at the Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Awards 2018

Overall, the investor relations team has attended to over 500 sessions of investor meetings. In these meetings, the team introduced the latest business development of Hengan and listened to the investors’ comments on Hengan’s business target and development directions. Moreover, the company held a reverse roadshow in December 2017, wherein it invited over 60 representatives from international investment institutions to visit the Hengan's headquarters and production base in Jinjiang, Fujian. The investors also participated in the conference hosted by Hengan's CEO, Hui Lin Chit and met with the Amoeba teams.

The investor tour proved successful with the arrangement of the visits and in-depth exchange sessions applauded by investors. The investor tour has deepened the investors’ knowledge and understanding of Hengan’s operation and development strategy. The investor tour also led to publication of research reports about the reverse road show and Hengan's prospects by around 20 brokerage firms. Most of the analysts commented that the effect brought by “small team” strategy was significant and gave positive recommendations on the company's future development. Hengan’s efforts in investor relations have also been widely recognised in the market. In 2018, the company was awarded QuamIR Awards — The Most Remarkable Investor Relations Recognition 2017, by Oceanwide IR Limited. It was also acclaimed as the Top 100 Hong Kong Stocks for the sixth consecutive years.

The inaugural Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Awards was held on November 28, 2018 at the Conrad Hong Kong. The award aims to honour the City's most outstanding business leaders, including noteworthy individuals and teams whose initiatives have brought tangible business gains for their company's operations.

The 2018 nominees were judged by a panel consisting of Andrew Ross, Managing Director of Baker Tilly Hong Kong; Charbon Lo, Director of Crowe (HK) CPA Limited; Roy Lo, Managing Partner of SHINEWING (HK) CPA Limited; and Anthony Tam, Executive Director in Tax Services of Mazars Hong Kong.
