Bartra Wealth Advisors clinches Innovator of the Year – Real Estate trophy at HKB Management Excellence Awards
It is the only Irish developer in Hong Kong offering immigrant investors direct access to IIP qualified real estate projects.
Bartra Wealth Advisors has won the Innovator of the Year – Real Estate trophy at the recently concluded HKB Management Excellence Awards 2020.
Now in its third year, the awards event lauds trailblazing individuals and teams whose initiatives have brought tangible business gains for their company's operations.
A subsidiary within the Bartra Capital Group of companies, Bartra Wealth Advisors is the immigration arm of Ireland’s most successful real estate developer Bartra Capital.
The firm provides investors direct access to high-quality nursing home and social housing projects as the preferred investment options designated by the Irish government for the Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP). It is the first and only developer in Hong Kong offering immigrant investors direct access to IIP qualified real estate projects with one-stop solutions.
“Bartra Wealth Advisors prides itself on delivering streamlined, in-group, end-to-end services. Its unique business model supports clients throughout their investment and immigration journey, from immigration advisory and government backed IIP projects through to exit executions,” CEO and co-founder James Hartshorn said.
To date, there are two popular options within the IIP investments schemes for those looking to migrate to Ireland – applicants can either give a personal donation of $4.6m (€500,000) or a corporate investment of $9.21m (€1m) in IIP qualified projects for at least three years investment term.
Although the first route is discounted to $3.68m (€400,000) per person if a group of 5 is donating together, the money is gone after the donation. Therefore, according to the statistical report of the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) for 2015-2019, more than 70% of applicants have opted for corporate investments.
A 4% interest per year could also be received if they chose to invest in Bartra’s nursing home projects. This would mean that at the maturity of the five-year investment period, an applicant would get an extra $1.84m (€200,000) tax-free on top of their initial $9.21m investment.
The earlier an applicant makes their investment, the earlier INIS will issue the applicant their landing permission letter. With that, the applicant can then visit INIS physically to get their Irish Residence Permit (IRP) and Stamp 4 on the first time of their landing.
The Stamp 4 gives permission to stay in Ireland for a specified period, exempts the need for an employment permit and thus allows holders to work in their relevant fields or other bodies, allows holders to establish and operate a business and enables access to state funds and services determined by government agencies and departments.
Bartra Group has helped hundreds of families successfully immigrate to Ireland thanks to its extensive Irish immigration experience, expertise in real estate investments, professional landing teams and strong business network support.
The company maintains a 100% application approval rate, as well as a 100% renewal rate. It receives approximately 50 applicants within less than a year.
Bartra has put in place an experienced multi-disciplinary team to deliver its existing pipeline of Social Housing and Nursing Home projects. The Group intends to provide 435 Social Homes with a value in excess of $1.22b (€130m) and 823 nursing home beds valued over $1.69b (€180m).
