Sustainability in the workplace: In which areas should companies do more?

Employees believe their companies should be doing more to achieve a sustainable workforce, a survey by Adobe has found.
This is because workers (27%) think that their company is lagging in their sector in terms of sustainability efforts.
According to the survey, workers in Hong Kong want their companies to further reduce or eliminate paper usage in the workplace (48%), curb electricity consumption (47%), and improve recycling programmes (44%).
Companies must also increase the adoption of digital document storage and management, online collaboration (43%), and workflow tools (37%), according to employees.
Employees believe that instituting sustainability practices at work will cause less harm to the environment (54%), lowers costs (49%), boost productivity rates (37%), and improve workplace culture (35%).
