New $780 bus pass will slash long-distance transport expenses
Commuters can save up to 20% in transport fees.
The Transport Department approved the $780 bus pass which is set to relieve public transport expenses, especially for long-distance commuters.
According to a press release, residents from North and Northwest New Territories can save as much as 20% in transport fees upon using the pass to Hong Kong Island.
Pass holders can enjoy up to 10 rides on most KMB routes however, it the bus pass cannot be used for MTR K feeder routes.
The pass will be available for purchase at sales machines in public transport interchanges and terminals in Kowloon and New Territories.
