Nominations are now open for HKB Management Excellence Awards 2021

Submissions of entries are open until 18 October 2021.

With the COVID-19 pandemic continuously sending out a foray of its malevolent strains on top of the challenging situation with the US following the new security law last year, businesses in Hong Kong now need the strong guidance of leaders to steer them in the right direction whilst grounding them to their purpose and vision.

Hong Kong Business understands this and formally opens the nominations for the fourth HKB Management Excellence Awards 2021.

Recognising the city's most outstanding business leaders, the awards programme is on the lookout for management executives and teams who have implemented best practices, as well as strategies and initiatives, which significantly enhanced the growth of the company.

The award categories that will be given for each industry include Executive of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Team of the Year, and Employee Engagement of the Year.

"What this means for me is that an independent party of judges looked into our journey and said that you're going in the right direction. That's a big big vote of confidence for me, my team, and our brand. I came to Tricor not so long ago, and love every moment of it. But I want to confess that there are days that you want a better certainty of direction, and this vote is less for me and more for my team's journey, and that’s the biggest thing I take out of it," said Lennard Yong, Group CEO of Tricor Group.

Yong has received the Executive of the Year Award for Business Services category in HKB Management Excellence Awards 2019.

Meanwhile, last year’s programme was graced by winners from Epic Designers Limited, Dun & Bradstreet (HK) Ltd, Nasdaq, iClick, Certis Hong Kong and Macau, AsiaPay, BIPO Service Ltd, Linnovate Partners Holdings Limited, and more.

Nominations are open to top-level executives, innovative individuals, and dynamic teams who launched successful and notable new projects or innovations, as well as employee engagement initiatives that boost employees' motivation and drive at work.

The deadline for submissions is on 18 October 2021, whilst the awards presentation will take place in November 2021.
