Christie's appoints new head of Asian and world art

 Heidi Yang will innovate the strategic initiatives of Asian and world art cluster.

Art business Christie’s has appointed Heidi Yang as new global managing director for Asian and world art.

Yang has over 25 years of experience in building and managing businesses in the financial sector, with her responsibilities including development and oversight of business organisation, recruiting and developing talent, as well as driving business growth that span across corporate advisory, equity and debt offerings, and mergers and acquisitions in Asia.

She will oversee and innovate the strategic initiatives of the Asian and World Art cluster worldwide, with a particular focus on Greater China. She will also manage financial performance and work closely with senior leaders to drive the continued development of auction, private sales, and online business.
