Richard Wolf Hong Kong gets International Business Award for Endocam Flex HD

The company won in the Health Products and Services category.

Physicians can now easily and quickly carry out endoscopic treatments thanks to Richard Wolf Hong Kong Ltd.’s newest ENDOCAM Flex HD, a 150mm x 55mm x 220mm device that’s small enough to be used in places without enough space for conventional camera controllers, yet powerful and flexible enough for use in the specialist areas of urology and pulmonology. The easy to operate, space-saving, and portable imaging system recently won in the Health Products and Services category of the 2017 Hong Kong Business International Business Awards.

The ENDOCAM Flex HD boasts of an integrated VESA 100 interface that expands the area of application and permits wall-mounting or attachment to the side of a video cart. There are also two holder options that allow the camera controller and ENDOLIGHT Flex LED light source to be adapted to a monitor. Moreover, six new different sensor endoscopes are available for the above-mentioned specialist applications.

“My impression was very good and this is precisely the instrument that urologists need today for the endoscopic treatment of diseases,” comments Prof. Dr. med. Sven Lahme, Chief Medical Officer from the Department of Urology, Siloah St. Trudpert Klinikum, Pforzheim, Germany.

Other possible applications of the ENDOCAM Flex HD include accident and emergency response units as it’s a simple plug-and-play device that can go to patients should the need arise.

“The instrument is user-friendly and another nurse from a different specialist discipline was able to operate the device immediately because no major adjustment was necessary.
