Patek Philippe launches an Arabic version of its website

Japanese version also underway.

Throughout its long history, Patek Philippe has always focused on communicating its passion for fine watchmaking. First launched in 1997, the official Patek Philippe website www.patek.com has allowed over the years a growing number of watch enthusiasts to enter the world of Patek Philippe in just a few clicks.

From the complete watch collection to maintenance advice or the Patek Philippe Museum, everything anyone wishes to know is illustrated, explained and easily accessed on this platform.

The world of the Internet has opened vast alleys of communication, ones that are literally limitless. The only boundaries are the languages in which they interact. Originally launched in English, the website has been available in a multilingual version for several years now.

The latest version to be added today is Arabic, a launch that closely follows the very successful “Watch Art Grand Exhibition” which took place in Dubai in January 2012. This event was the first of a planned world tour series, underlining the high regard in which Patek Philippe holds this region.

Sharing the art of watchmaking with the Middle East in this unique exhibition contributed to reinforcing the interest and information needs of clients as well as the public at large in the entire region.

www.patek.com in Arabic is a step forward to reach out and further improve communication with the entire Arab-speaking world.

Although the large majority of Patek Philippe clients from this region are well versed in either English or French, the company’s high regard for their varied histories and cultures and its desire to share its passion for the art and technical intricacies of fine watchmaking is the main motivation for undertaking this web launch.

Patek Philippe hopes the site in Arabic version will be welcomed by Arab speakers the world over and will contribute to keeping them well informed of the family-owned company as well as its world- renowned timepieces. Included in the site rich content, all available instruction manuals will now be available in Arabic, which is essential information for watch owners.

To continue on this global outreach through its multilingual website, Patek Philippe will launch a Japanese version soon in 2014, to be followed by a Russian version in 2015.
