MobileFOXX’s to provide enhanced mobile services for Bank CIMB Niaga

Platform enables the lender’s existing credit card customers to search and redeem special offers.

MobileFOXX Holdings Ltd, a Hong Kong based company marketing ‘smart phone’ apps, on Wednesday announced it has concluded a deal with Bank CIMB Niaga (the fifth largest bank in Indonesia in terms of assets, deposits, lending, and branch distribution network) which will allow them to use the mobileFOXX technology to provide an enhanced service for its credit card customers.

This opportunity means that mobileFOXX will provide a unique (in its functionality and redemption system) mobile platform to existing clients of CIMB Niaga, allowing them to search, find and redeem special offers – arranged by the bank exclusive to its credit card customers.

Based in Indonesia, CIMB Group currently operates in 18 markets around the globe. As part of its corporate mission to harness the power of scale and diversity of ASEAN, CIMB Niaga continues to expand its services and facilities in order to serve and connect with their customers. Its decision to cooperate with the new technology provided by mobileFOXX, indicates the market’s need for mobile banking services, with customers are ready to embrace new apps that provide a more enjoyable banking experience, according to a MobileFOXX report.

Martin Roeth, Director of Mobilefoxx Holdings Ltd, said that this cooperation is only the beginning and is setting the pace for other banks, especially their credit card divisions, to follow. He looks forward to bring this powerful marketing tool into service with local banks in Hong Kong. “We are still in an early phrase, but it is by constantly conversing with banks and merchants that we can gradually build acceptance of this unique technology.”
