International Wine & Spirits Showcase exhibits in Hong Kong

Chairman Mr. Xavier de Eizaguirre and CEO Mr. Guillaume Deglise of Vinexpo welcomed esteemed guests, wine exhibitors and media to the 8th Vinexpo Asia-Pacific exhibition which opened at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre recently, a release said.

The opening ceremony included speeches from the Chairman and CEO of Vinexpo as well as their official guests, Mr Gregory So, Kam-Leung - Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development - HKSAR, Mr Arnaud Barthelemy, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau as well as the famous Chinese actress Ms. Zhao Wei, owner of the renowned Chateau Monlot in Bordeaux.

In the opening speeches, the Vinexpo executives confirmed that this year’s exhibition will be the largest ever in Asia and at the same time welcomed over 1,300 exhibitors representing 34 different countries.
The organisers are expecting a record-breaking 17,000 professional visitors to the three-day show which runs from May 27-29, 2014.
