Finastra unveils Future of Banking Center of Excellence in Cyberport

It aims to facilitate digital disruption in the financial services industry.

Vista Equity Partners portfolio company Finastra unveiled the establishment of the Future of Banking Center of Excellence in Cyberport, Hong Kong.

According to a press release, it will facilitate the acceleration of digital disruption and innovation in the financial services industry. 

“This is the first exclusive banking Center of Excellence of its kind at Cyberport which will provide an immersive lab environment dedicated to driving digitalization across the financial services industry,” said Finastra Asia Pacific managing director Imad Abou Haidar.

Cyberport Hong Kong was chosen as the location for the centre due to its robust banking and fintech ecosystem and for its strategic connection to Asia and the Belt and Road region. 

The Future of Banking Center of Excellence is slated to open in the first quarter of 2018.
