Wharf gives up 120,000sf retail space for Harbour City

Amid ongoing developments on its portfolio.

In line with the ongoing renovation and upgrade of its portfolio, Wharf has begun to add 120,000sf of retail space to its flagship Harbour City shopping centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.

According to a research note from Barclays, the renovations began some three years back and of the 120,000sf new space, 70,000sf came from the conversion of office floors to retail usage.

Meanwhile, the other 50,000sf came from an extension of the third floor of the Gateway retail portion.

Of this newly added space, 35,000sf will be given to the Page One book store, 70,000sf will be developed into a beauty and cosmetics zone with a Nike concept store occupying another 3,000sf.
