Stage 4 of Kai Tak development infrastructure opens for tender

Deadline is on April 19.

According to a report, the Civil Engineering & Development Department is inviting tenders for the contract for Kai Tak Development - Stage 4 infrastructure at former north apron area.

The tender invitation was gazetted today and the deadline is noon on April 19.

The works serve the future residential developments at the north apron area of the former Kai Tak Airport.

They include construction of new roads, two sewage pumping stations and associated rising mains, chilled water pipes and box culverts, footpaths, stormwater drains, sewers, water mains, landscaping and environmental mitigation measures.

The works will start in July this year for completion in June 2016.

The department has commissioned AECOM Asia Company Limited to design and supervise the works.

Tender submissions should be placed in the tender box at G/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar.
