AirAsia to launch direct flights from Chiang Mai to Hong Kong

Flights begin January 7, 2014.

Malaysia’s AirAsia Bhd will celebrate the launch of this new route with promotional fares starting from US$40.88 (THB 1290) per way available until November 17 for travel between January 7, 2014 and August 5, 2014.

AirAsia said Hong Kong has always been a popular all-year destination for Thais because of its cosmopolitan vibe, dynamic attractions, shopping malls and excellent transportation infrastructure. Hong Kong has no visa requirement for Thai citizens.

AirAsiaGo is offering a 3-day, 2-night package deal with two nights of accommodation in Hong Kong, plus a round trip ticket from Chiang Mai to Hong Kong starting from US$135.18 (THB3950) per person based on twin sharing.
